When should I file my FASFA?

Question:Im a high school senior and will attend college in Fall 2008

Answers:
Complete it as soon after January 1st,2008 as possible. If you do not have all your parents tax information than use the previous years tax information. Once you submit it you will get a SAR and you can correct all the information. It will also tell you your EFC, or Expected Family Contribution.
Submit 2007-2008 FAFSA on the Web Applications by midnight Central Daylight time, June 30, 2008
now. or once you've submited all your apps for school.
You have to know which college you will be attending before you file. Once you know, you can apply at any time. You can apply to multiple schools as well.
You should submit it as soon after January 1st, 2008 as possible. You will use yours (if you have any) and your parents income tax returns for 2007. You do not have to have decided on a school but it is a good idea to have the taxes completed first because it asks how much your parents paid in taxes, not now much they paid at the end of the year or not how much they had withheld.
Good Luck!
