Student Loan, No Co-signer?

Question:need a loan have no one to co sign...looking for one where you dont have to pay back till after you graduate :)

Answers:
Try Sallie May, or your bank. You should be able to apply on your own, but they can be credit-based. Most school loans are deferred until graduation, so stay away from anything labled a "private loan" and you should be ok. Sallie May is a big one, I'd start there.

Good luck!
If you have not already, you need to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid -www.fafsa.ed.gov). Completing this will generate an EFC (Expected Family Contribution) that schools use in conjunction to determine what types of award you could receive.

You may be able to receive a Stafford Loan (Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized depending on your school determined financial need). These do no require a co-signor. Subsidized loans do not have to be repaid until six months after you graduate or withdraw; Unsubsidized you can defer your loan until six months after you graduate or withdraw but you will still be responsible for the interest. You can review information regarding Stafford loans at www.finaid.org/loans

Additionally, you should talk to a financial aid officer at your school for more information/guidance. Good luck!

Students who are looking for a bad credit student loan should pick three schools they are most interested in, talk to the admissions office, and ask what is needed to apply in their school.A bad credit<!--student loan is payable only after the student has completed his or her education, and has started earning a certain minimum amount. You can find more information on Student Loan here,

http://badcredits.awardspace.com/student...

The minimum amount that the candidate of the bad credit student loan is required to earn has also increased. Bad credit student loans are available as both secured and unsecured loans-->depending on whether you are a homeowner or not. The rate of interest to be paid on unsecured bad credit student loans is higher than that on secured bad credit student loans. This is because the secured bad credit student loans are backed by your home as a security.
I believe the answer you're looking for can be found on this site. They've got lots of info about the subject.
I got mine through the CT Student Loan Foundation. They are really good and easy to work with. I had no cosigner and didn't have to start repayment until graduation or until I left school.
