Is it smarter to go to one university and not to transfer or go to a county college and then transfer...?

Question:to a university? B/c a univ may not take all of county college credits and I may have to retake some classes again which way is cheaper, going to a 4 year college or county college first and then a four year univ?

Answers:
University is great if you can afford it ...

county colleges are generally less expensive. several of them have agreements with universities in which you do 2 years of classes at college and 2 years at university. check it out!!

best of luck to you!
Since your general education credits will transfer i would say to to a CC first. They do not cost as much as universities for the same course
I say if you can afford and get excepted in the University.....I would go to a University you'll have a better experience.
the typical 4 year college credit hour is about 2-5x that of a local community college. The other folks are correct that many have agreements with the 2 year institutes that allow all of your course materials to transfer. In the end 2 years at a local school, where you don't have to pay additional room and board if you stay at home is cheaper in the range of thousands of dollars.
