If you have already received the eligible grants and federal stafford loans, your next loan type is typically a PLUS in one of your parents name, however, many parents are not willing to sign for a PLUS loan. After that, you can look into private or alternative loans. CHECK WITH YOUR FINANCIAL AID OFFICE, NOT SOME SITE ON THE WEB!! They can give you some guidance regarding who is credible. You should also be able to talk to them about any refunds you may or may not have coming to you. Each students case will be different. So will the refund.
Lastly you could look into non certified loans, but they are expensive and in my opinion not worth your time. It will cost you dearly in the end.

I obtained these website from my community college in which I attend. If you start paying your student loan while in school you can claim it on your taxes. Right now interest rates are 6.8% fixed.

The lower your EFC the more money you will receive from Federal Pell Grants and other Grants. Then the loans come into action. Fastweb has scholarship listings.
