Want to go out of the country for studying or work... have no money?

Question:I wanted to do it in high school but my school didn't have the funds... have I lost my opportunity? Are there any chances of going to college in a different country... if so how do I go about doing that?

Answers:
Apply to teach English in a country like Japan where the value of speaking correct English and learning from an American is valued. With their generous salary and benefits, you can attend school there and you will learn so much from being there.
There probably isn't funds to go to college in another country. The best thing you can do is go to a good college in the U.S. and see in your Junior year if you can study abroad. If you are a good student that will sometimes work. Remember all those student loans will have to be paid back though. I have a friend with $80,000 in college student loans. Her payback per month is $500 for the next 13 years, I think she said. That means she won't be driving a nice car for 14 years.
No, you have not lost your opportunity but unfortunately you may have to raise the money yourself if you can not find any programs that will sponsor you. But maybe give Craigslist a try and see if there are any groups going out of the country, you can hitch a ride with them. As for going to college out of the country, sweetie...the web is the best resource to help you with that! Good luck!
