It's the same as anything else.unless you are salaried.you get paid for what you do. If you take out an appendix you will get a certain amount of money.but if you do a gall bladder or a triple by-pass the amount increases. Neurosurgeons make the most money..general surgeons the least --- insofar as surgery goes. A general surgeon would make about 250K-350K a year...some more...some less...but that is a ballpark figure.
