Question:Hi I hope someone will be able to help me I live in taylor co Ky and I am in need of help. I am married with an 8 month old daughter and I am trying to start a career, however where I live there are no busses nor cabs and I have no way to get to jobs, or even the stores to buy groceries. Right now I am depending on a friend to take us around but he charges alot and we can't afford it. I have tried talking to the welfare office for help and they do have a program, but we are not eligable because we are on SSI, although I have gone through Vocational Rehab to get off of SSI and start working. I am not asking for a hand out I just need a little help to get started, I have talked to lots of places and most want 1000 to 1500 down and I can't come up with anywhere near that. I have offered to work for free to pay off at least some of it but nobodys interested.
