Try to visit your school financial aid center and scholarship center.
Make sure you file a FAFSA. Contact your the school's financial aid office and they can tell you about the scholarships that they offer. There are many scholarships you can apply for online. The government has several programs set up for students who cannot afford to go to college. The best type of loan to get is a federal government student loan. Here are the steps you need to take:

2) Once you are eligible for aid, choose a government-based student loan. The best loan to get is a Federal Perkins Loan.
