Question:I'm getting a student loan to cover my gas and all for going to school. My question is could I get a loan of about $11000-$12000 if my tuition for school is only $700 a semester. I'm going to a local community college but its almost a 30 mile drive and will be needing a new car soon, because my current car is my parents and I don't want to run the car in the ground. So I want to get my own soon. I would use around $2000 for gas and food and use the rest for a down payment or put into a Checking Deposit. I just want to know if it is possible for me to do this? Thanks for any help!
