Is it ever too late to start over?

Question:I graduated college at 25. I just turned 27 but I feel like I wasted my college years trying to fit in and smoking pot and working fast food and I'm going to be stuck in this unsatisfying life forever and wake up and be 50 and hate myself even more for pissing it all away. I have a good full time job now, but there's not much room for advancement. Have you or someone you know completely started over? I want to get my MBA but I can't tack on another $30,000 to my student loans.

Answers:
Since you have a bachelors degree, a lot of companies will pay you to get your masters. If you are not satisfied in your current position, look for another job that is willing to pay for your advancement. It's never too late to start over.
Look at it this way. Each morning is the beginning of the rest of your life. Do with it as you wish. Recently it was announced that a woman in her nineties just got her Masters. Hurray for her. You will soon learn that it is the journey that counts. You never get there, you only reach stages.
You're going to become 50 either way - either miserable in your unsatisfying life, or not. Maybe this will involve a higher loan repayment. Maybe not.

Starting over? You're only 27 - it's not that big of a restart. A small reboot!
You have plenty of time to start over. I will be finishing up my bachelors degree next year - shortly after I turn 35. Hopefully around that time, my boyfriend and I will be moving across the country and in time, I hope to be starting my MBA, possibly a joint MBA/JD.
