Yes they are free of fees. However, they take out the tuition money first and if you use your grant money to buy your books, it comes out of that. If I remember correctly, the rest of the money is then made out to you in the form of a check. It is then mailed out to you or the school for you to pick up. It usually arrives about 4 weeks after school as started.
