Question:We are trying to fund the building of a technical school in Puerto Cortes County in Honduras. We have filmed and made a documentary that is being shown in churches within our community however the funds that are raised from the documentary are not seeming to be enough to cover the costs of materials and labor for the entire project. We don't know where or how to apply for a grant to help fund the project. Please help guide us in the right direction.
Answers:
Grant.com is a great source of free grants, scholarships.
Try it.
You could ask your local Rotary club or other civic clubs. I know Rotary has money set aside for International projects, but they also have various requirements for "matching grants". Like they would require a Rotarian in Honduras to keep an eye on things, or at least a frequent American visitor.
