If I was approved for private student loans through my school, will they count it as payment for my tuition?

Question:I don't really have the funds to pay for my tuition out of pocket, but I just found out today that I got approved for enough in loans to cover my tuition. These loans went through my school first so they know I have it. It hasn't shown up yet online that my tuition is paid for, but since I was approved for loans, will they keep the amount of my tuition and disburse the rest to me later or will I still have to pay out of pocket?

Answers:
If the loans went through the school, they should keep enough to pay your tuition and send any leftover to you. You should contact your financial aid office to ensure they have the money and everything is in order.
