There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill.
Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/ lion's club etc. Left-handed? There is a scholarship out there for you! Older woman returning to school? There are scholarships out there for you. Do combined searches on more than one criteria "hispanic women aviation scholarships" etc.
Go to the library and ask the reference librarian for a reference book on scholarships. They usually have more than one. There are all kinds of scholarships out there, you just have to start applying yourself and make it your summer career to send out letters everyday for scholarships. Good luck!
pls contact rotary.org for their sponsorship initiatives. go for a loan. you gonna make it. after you got work you can pay it, I am thinking about going to get a degree and they offer loans. you gonna loose more if you don't try to find a way. don't give up.. My entire nursing tuition was paid by the "Eagles Lodge." Check in your area for these groups. there are so many scholarships for students with grades over a B average. Go to the college and ask a financial aid person or finance person because I finished nursing school a couple years ago when I went back for my degree and there was a 5 inch thick book of scholarships by name, age, returning student, race, location, school, dependent, military, disability, single mom or dad, income level, you name it...also, there are many loans you can take up to 10 or 15 years to pay back...there is no reason why anyone can not go to college.but many people do not know how to find the scholarships..there are many people who die and have no kids and leave the money in the bank to use and grow for people like you.honest.
