have them fill out the FAFSA form. If they can't get loans for school, then you have too much money. Get in contact with the college's financial aid office, and apply for scholarships and work-study programs. Source(s):
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ Thats weird You are looking in the wrong places with stilted vision. I bet they can get loans. I don't know. Maybe they're not smart enough to qualify for a scholarship. Maybe you just haven't looked hard enough into all the options. There are grants and scholarships out there, you just have to find them. If that's the case it's wrong. Good kids should be rewarded. Don't forget to try your church for scholarships. That depends on the college they are applying too. Its kind of late now but college resume really helps so building it up is the key thing to do. Grades play a large role and sports play an ever larger role in scholarship money. Apply for FAFSA and every high school has college consulors you can go too to find out about scholarships. Apply for as many as possible because society is stupid and unorthidox Maybe because you homeschooled them and they are not up to standards for the entrance requirments or for financial aid. I don't know to many people who are single pregnant and going to collage all at the same time but then I attend public college and you must be shopping the christian college's where its a sin to abort that baby and get on with your life. Because our government is designed to help those that don't know how to help themselves. Everyone else has to get Mommy & Daddy to, or do it on their own. I personally belong to the do it on your own group, and I think graduation will be that much sweeter, for just that reason! http://www.ask.com/web?q=christian+college+grants&qsrc=1&o=0

can be frustrating ,, God bless... That's not true. Unfair assumption! Check out college loan and scholarship websites, they're a plenty. They're sure to qualify for something. If you do your research you'll find something. The godly should never dispair. Romans 8:37- "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Because its more likely that someone who is "pregnat" will not stay in school - and the person giving the scholarship will save money. . . Or you could just be looking in the wrong place. Try going to a bookstore and looking at a book of scholarships. They have something for every type of moron - not just the ones with rugrats. (I got a full scholarship just for having good grades!) It's because they aren't part of an 'opressed' or 'politial' or 'minority' group of any kind. The average person, in the majority, who works or goes to school for their everyday life, and doesn't stir up any confict or empathy from any political/activist group, gets no attention - aka money - thrown at them to solve thier 'problems' or to satisfy any other group. In other words - the sqweaky wheel gets the grease. Some of us are proud of what we have especially because we earned every bit of it. Great question. I thought you had to be black or hispanic to get help for college. thats not true, i got financial aid and i'm not pregnant,go to fasfa.com and fill her out,or go to the financial aid office in the school ur children want to go to.
