As was mentioned, some big name schools are onboard with these guys. And, they just awarded $20,000 in scholarships (and i think have more they're still awarding?). a credible source gave them some press too. seems pretty legit...
I definitely believe it is. They have an awesome blog that really clues us in on the validity of what they're doing. The blog says they recently signed up big-name schools including Yale, Stanford, and MIT. I definitely think it's legit.
Zinch is not only a legitimate website but also a really important resource for high school students and a valuable tool for colleges. I've worked in admissions and college counseling and think Zinch is going to move college admissions forward to include lots of kids left out of the traditional process.
Kaplan has them on their website. Their blog also lists scholarships they have given out and big schools that are working with them. Looks legit to me!
Just by the comments below and my own quick research, it looks like Zinch is a legitimate site. I even checked out their MySpace page which looks pretty legit.
