Were you already accepted? If you didn't apply already, you really should. Some out of state schools offer more money than you think. It wouldn't hurt to try. Even if it works out to be a little bit more expensive than you were hoping for, I'd still consider it. College is a great, once in a lifetime experience. Make sure you go where you'll be comfortable and happy.
if you are financially needed ask for a federal pell grant or try to get a scholarship.

file your fafsa as well as the profile on collegeboard for financial aid... the financial aid office of the college may offer a good package. if you tell me the college i can tell you their stats on finaid
