Question:I'm a nursing major studying in a community college working towards graduating later on with an associate's degree in nursing. I know that the general education courses will tranfer to a university, but will the nursing courses also transfer? For example, the nursing 101-204 courses for RN.
Answers:
I'm the same as you. I'm in Tulsa, OK. You need to contact the scholl where you want to transfer after getting your Assc/RN. OU and OSU take classes from Tulsa Community but some colleges did not.
Most will transfer. If you know what 4-year college you want to attend you should ask their registrar office or schedule an appointment with an academic advisor. If the college is close they probably have a manual with what credits transfer as what classes. If they don't transfer you should still get credit for them as elective hours.
