# im surrounded by college and dont know algebra what do i do?

Question:i have to bring algebra i never graduated giant school i dropped out surrounded by the 10th grade i get a ged now im contained by college and have to pilfer algebra and im in online college what do i do?

I have to take it contained by college, and since I had flunked it within HS, I was worried, too.
Here's what you do:
A really wise personage told me before I took it surrounded by college, there are rules surrounded by Algebra, and you must follow the rules. They were right, if you follow the rules you will do fine :-) .

1/ instruct of operation: when you have an equation, first do what's surrounded by brackets, then whats within parentheses, afterwards multiply or divide, and finally add or subtract. If you follow the rules, you will process your numbers contained by the right order and draw from the right answers.

2/ learn the communitive, distributive and stabilizer properties and what they mean.

3/ Never, ever, take behind. In any math class, if you attain behind, you will product the class 10X harder just trying to arrest up, IF you can catch up. Just label your class a priority and STAY CURRENT.

4/ Almost every book has the answers surrounded by the back (or at tiniest every other question's answer). Do every problem in the book as you turn, even if they are not assigned to you. Check the answers against the back of the book.
Doing these will label you remember how to do it, and you can then build on that erudition.

The ones you miss are good, too, because that tell you what you need to study more or ask someone how to do (like here) or ask your mentor.

If your book explains something and it makes no sense, you can also rummage through it on google.com or dogpile.com and maybe find it explained from another angle that make sense.

You can do this. I did, and I got an A. Not too desperate for a girl that almost flunked HS! You can do this, too, just work at it and don't be terrified. You'll get it!

if i were you i would try to receive a tutor or take a course at ur local Comunity college start next to elementary algebra and work your way up. DO NOT TEACH YOURSELF or if you do be caution b/c s ome parts of algebra you can learn wrong and that would really scre you over. Congratz on pursuing sophisticated education!!!
