Question:Stanford is basically my first choice. But I am wondering wether it is right for my career path (I want to become some type of doctor or genetic engineer). Also, I'm interested in studying in other countries. Does Stanford have a good study abroad program? Feedback is very much appreciated.

their pre-med program is ok, but stanford is better known for its engineering programs. if you're going pre-med consider johns hopkins.
