I showed up for class I wanted to take and the professor made a waitlist based on who asked her to be added first. I was on the other end of the room when she started the list and by the time I got there I was fourth on the list.
I told the professor how much I wanted to be in the class and I am checking every 10 minutes to see if there is an opening to register online, but I am thinking my chances are slim. Is there anything else I can do?
Answers:
Probably not. If you don't get the class this term, maybe you can get it next term. Most wait lists are exactly as you have described - one at time, and whoever gets on the list first gets in first.
just screw them and go and sit in the class anyway
no. becuase its on a first come first serve basis. Just hope for the best. Theres nothing you can do about it.
I would say keep going to the class until the last day to add because I am pretty sure someone will drop.Hang on in there...I know how you feel..
