You graduate whenever you finish your coursework. If you're talking about the ceremony, then most colleges hold it in May (at the end of Spring semester). You can attend the ceremony either before or after you finish your coursework because they don't give you your degree there. They either mail it to you or you have to pick it up somewhere. I'm not attending a graduation ceremony at all; I'm just having my degree mailed to me so I can start working in January (I "graduate"/compete my course work in December).
