For now get really really good grades and keep them consistent.
Right now I'm assuming your either A) in a community college or B) in your last years of high school. Talk to your schools advisor, you'll need at least a bio degree, and they'll help you with the classes you should be taking right now,what will transfer, and wat you need to do to prepare for it.
In my opinion you need to hit the medical books and www and cram up on your weak medical subjects.
I feel that you also need to know where you want to go and what type of medicine you want to do.

Perhaps you can do some work experience at these places, so you have an idea how it's like.
Some friends said that they didn't do anything but watched the doctors in work and said it was interesting to see it.
