What level of math do I need if I want to become a surgeon?

Question:I've heard Calc 3, but I think that might be a bit much.

Answers:
Calculus.

I don't know what Calc 3 is, but med school requirements are Calculus just to be eligible to apply to med schools.
According to my undergrad course catalog, the only premed math requirement is Calc I. I'm not familiar with med school courses, so I don't know if they make you take any more math in med school.
That sounds right to me. Mathematics is the language of science -- and you need to do a lot of science to get into medical school.
