Plastic surgeons can be utilized in practically any field, so definitely look into plastic surgery. It pays slightly less than the other option, but the demand is higher for plastic surgeons so the demand will make up for the pay difference at this point in time (i.e. more patients = more money). Eventually, things will change and plastic surgery will receive the recognition that it deserves, progressing in places like burn centers and cosmetic clinics. Good luck!

I think you become a surgeon not mainly for the money, but really to help the people who are in need.
Both of the choices are great, you help people as no matter which you become.

When you fulfill your career, do you want others to see you as a artistic plastic surgeon who made people look better.
OR
A cardiac surgeon who probably saved lives.
Personally, between the two, I am probably going to choose to be a cardiac surgeon.
