Sororities and fraternaties...HELP!!...

Question:you know how some sororities and fraternaties are affiliated with a house of the opposite sex, and they are prefered to date people from that house. what i want to know is what fraternity is the tri-delta affiliated with (it doesnt have to be an official affiliation) like which frat do the girls from delta delta delta usually date?

Answers:
So are you telling us that you are paying a fee for friends (fraternities and sororities) so they can tell you who you should date?
I think it varies from school to school.
There is no such thing as a national affiliation that you speak of. Fraternities may hang out with a particular sorority more than others (which varies by campus) but there are no obligations to date specific houses. But I highly suggest joining a fraternity/sorority, as college is far more than just learning in a classroom, and it will give you nice connections later in life.
Sororities are no longer allowed to have "brother" fraternities. In fact many sororities are trying to vary the frats they do events with so that the women can meet different men. So to answer your questions about who they typically date-there isn't a "typical" guy that tri delts or any other sorority girl dates-sorority women are all different types, and so of course they date all different types of men-even those not in fraternities (gasp!). The point of being in a sorority is to make lifelong female friends, get involved in the communtiy, and make connections that will help you throughout your career. Focus on those (especially when you rush! Most sorority members are told NOT to talk about boys during rush).
I think it depends on the university because a particular frat or sorority may exist only in a handful of universities and definitely they don't exist in pairs or in groups. You can probably go check out their website and see what frats they associate with the most. Or you can try to email them directly. I am sure they are always eager to hear from potential recruits. Just don't tell them you are still in high school.
Every fraternity and sorority has a style, or personality. This varies from campus to campus. Plus, a lot of other factors influence how houses "pair up". It might be geography (the two huses are near each other), or an old alum couple may have started a tradition.

If you have a specific college you are interested in, look at the individual chapter websites and see what parties and projects (like fundraisers) happen, and who they partner with.

In general, there is no "national" pair-up.
Honestly you do not need to date within any fraternity. And the statement made about it no longer being allowed to have any ties between fraternities and sororities that is not true....As a founding mother and a member of Sigma Chi Phi Sorority Inc, we do not make it mandatory to date our brothers of Kappa Chi Phi Fraternity Inc, however, we do not prohibit it.it also isn't necessary for you to date another Greek. I advise that you date whomever you feel comfortable dating, and your sorors will understand. I also say that sororities and fraternities are not bad some members just place them in the wrong light at times..do your research and join an organization that best suits you don't join one because your friend is joining or because you just want to fit in..do what is right for you..
I'm a Tri-delt.and anyone is free to date a guy from any frat or any guy in general. There is no frat that tri-delts are more prone to date either. I really wouldn't worry about it...are you thinking that you're going to be a tri-delt so therefore you need to know this info?
It's different at each school. Strangely enough, a fraternity may be extremely popular on one campus but they could be pretty unpopular on the next.
I wouldn't worry about it - date whoever you want.
There are no restrictions on who you can date. Ever. None of the NPC sororities have any official ties to ANY fraternity.
