If you want to be a CFO take accounting degree.
Take Poli Sci if you want to be a layer or get one of those JD/MBA combo degrees.
Personnel management or a management degree is good too. But the Engineering degree with MBA will get paid more.
It might seem like a random and non-complementary combination at first, but in my honest opinion (and speaking from personal experience/observation), a bachelor's degree in engineering followed by an executive MBA degree is stellar. My uncle graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from texas a & m university (one of the best engineering programs). He started off at around 60 grands per year, but after working for a little while (no more than a year i think), he went for an MBA degree. Months after he got his graduate degree, his salary was hiked up to around $100,000. Today, he's earning about 160 - 170,000 per year, and he's only in his early to mid 30's. Since engineering, in general, is very challenging, if you do well, you have a greater chance of getting into a good MBA program.
Thus, besides a BBA, a bachelor's degree in engineering looks really good with an MBA. I wouldn't advise you to take courses in social science or politics or any of those other areas (maybe psychology, but they are usually pretty easy courses, and are generally not regarded as highly as an engineering, business, or science degree).
Engineering or computer science. It definitely helps a manager to know something about what he/she is managing. Technology is the key to the economy. There are far more CEOs of major companies with undergraduate degrees in engineering than in business.
