Whne should i start applying to colleges?

im starting my senior year in glorious school right very soon, and i havent started any applications yet, when should i dispatch them off

Answers:    Depends on the academy and/or program you want to apply for. If you already know which colleges you want to apply to, go to the universities' admission websites. There, you'll find out about their individual admission processes and their deadlines. Download a tabloid version of their application sooner. This way you can follow what each institution is looking for contained by the application. Also, if the application has an essay, you can start planning and practicing writing the essay.

In accessory, if the application requires recommendations, desire which teachers or administrator you would like ask and, if called for, start buttering them up now (LOL).

One other article I'd like to tag on is that you should really think going on for the colleges you're applying to. Would you really want to attend these schools? To want, take campus tours and stir to any info sessions these schools may give in your nouns. Do this as many times as it take for you to decide which school are your choice schools and which ones are your second choice school. It's important to do this because application fees in our time can run $50+.

Somewhat contrary to the previous statement, apply to more than one college, like two choice school and two or three second choice schools. I made the mistake of applying to one and singular one school because I thought it would be my favorite. Well, even after two campus tours, I one-time to see how cliquish the campus was and how much construction be going on. I hated wake up every morning at 7 AM to the sound of jackhammers working on a exotic building literally 100 feet from my room.

As for timing of the applications, if you're going to apply rash admission, that deadline usually falls between October 1 and December 1. Regular admission deadlines can spatter anywhere between January 15 and April 1 (some less popular school may even be June). You should ask your teachers roughly recommendations at tiniest a month before the application is due. Transcripts and tryout scores: request to be sent give or take a few 2-3 weeks before the application is due.

One second thing, I swear, if you haven't taken the SAT or ACT, pinch it ASAP, but no later than a 3-4 weeks beforehand the deadlines.
Google the university you're interested in and find their websites. Then click on "admissions" and you'll find the application deadline for each. You still hold plenty of time, but don't wait till the closing minute to start applying. The process can take awhile (essays, recommendation, etc.).
