Do you have to live on campus to be apart of any sports in college?

Question:im graduating june 2008; and im intrested in this college who has a cheerleading tream but i wont be living on campus ill be going home; but does that mean that i cant be apart of the team?

Answers:
Commuters are allowed on school teams. I was on my first college's hockey team my sophomore year when I lived off campus.

One warning though. While commuters are allowed, the coaches tend to schedule practices on the assumption that the team lives on campus, so you might find yourself spending alot of time bumming around campus waiting for practice or driving home just to come back in 2 hours.
Of course you can.
