It matters big time!! Why give a nod to a "sound C" when some one else has a A or B. ALWAYS strive for the highest mark possible because you will always be chosen. Just think if you were in the position of choosing between two applicants, one with an A and one with a c, who would you choose. The A of course.

Also, better grades always help. Even if you can get in with Cs, those As can get you more money from the government and scholarships.
