No university is going to accept me with As results like that...
Is there any way of bettering my chances?
Like resits?

NO! I think you should be fine! I know soooooo many people that get bad results in AS because it's such a big gap from GCSE to A level, those grades are passes and its the numbers not the letters that count. just study really hard for A2 and get those good marks to go with your AS marks. Good luck!
I would think that re-taking and passing the courses at a later time would work. Nursing students do it all the time...talk to your couciler at school for confirmation before wasting your money.
Perhaps you are not cut-out for Pharmacy if you get poor results in Science subjects. Try something else.
where do you live? I am from the US and anytime you fail a college course you can repeat it. There are many good nurses that I know that had to repeat a course in their pursuit of their degree. If you truly want to be a Pharmacist then repeat the course until you get the grade that you need. The best grade or highest grade on your course work is the one that will ultimately go on your transcript. In the words of Winston Churchill "Never give up, never give up, NEVER give up". good luck!
You can re-take A levels at college. Good luck.
