Pharmacist??????

Question:how many years does it take to become a pharmacist and is it difficult

Answers:
Pharm School is very competitive to get into, and very difficult to finish. My dentist started out as a PharmD major.

The schools that I have talked with said that if you don't have at least a 3.8 GPA, you will not be considered competitive.

Usually there are 2-3 years of prerequisites, depending on your starting level in math and sciences...

...then it's 3-4 years of Pharmacy School, depending on where you go to school. The 3 year programs are year round, intensive programs.
Not sure. I think 6-8. My roommates girl is going for that and she study's all the time, and she's pretty smart. But she doesn't accept anything lower than a B.
depending on what path your taking, and what school you attend
approx. 6 years if you do two years of pre-requisites and 4 years of pharmacy school. (some schools have 3 year pre-req programs)

approx. 8 years if you get a B.S. degree first, then attend pharmacy school.

The best thing to do is talk to a college admissions counselor at whatever school your looking at. Good luck :)
