whats better getting really good grades or getting good reslts on the big exams/ tests.
What do big like universities?
please tell correctly!
Answers:
Some people can be really smart, but they can do really bad on their big tests, just because it is different than regular tests. I don't know what the star test is, but we have the ACT and SAT. Colleges look at your GPA and your test scores. Most colleges have a min. GPA and min. ACT/SAT requirement. Obviously if you get a higher grade on the ACT/SAT or GPA than required, you are more likely to get into the school. Colleges also look at activities you are in, like clubs, sports, volunteering, class president and more. The more you have of all of these the more likely you will get in! If you have the min. requirements you can still get into the school, just turn in your application, there is no harm in that. I would even turn in your application if you don't even meet the requirements! You never know what they say until you get a letter in the mail!
Hope this helps!!
Most colleges look at both your examinations and grades. Some people are not good at taking big tests and they take that into account.
