what dose a vocational subject mean in college??

Question:are these subject included in college hours or after college hours(part time)
i have read in some prospectus that they provide computer as a vocational subject

Answers:
To my understanding, any vocational subject is aimed toward training that student for a specific skill in a specific area. Like computer training, typing, etc. are aimed toward training someone to work in an office environment. Whereas a class on styling hair, also considered a vocational class, is aimed toward preparing someone to work in a hair salon environment.
