hii. you can start preparing for ur CAT before 15months of the time u r writing. for eg: i'm doin my BBM/BBA 2nd yr. so i joined for my CAT08 (on nov 2008) classes in Bangalore. so it means u can start at the time when u reach 2nd yr of ur graduation so that u can write ur exams in 3rd yr and do well

just improve your G.K..and start preparing for it in your 3rd
year of graduation......
first of all what u can do is that u must improve your english vocabulary so that u can understand while learning and communicating because once u appear for cat u have to clear ur gdpi and for that your communication level must be super and outstanding.and u general knowledge must be excellent for that u must start reading newspaper and other magazines and such other stuff. Try to improve ur mathamatical skills .rgt
and most important what u can do is that u can join good coaching class for cat. right
and best time for starting preparation is after completing ur 2nd year.
