I take it you want to be a radiologist and not a radiographer? From my experience (as a radiographer) radiologists don't seem to work much with radiation (like radiographers) and they don't have much contact with patients so i wld say ur pretty safe that way! Your biggest risk is probably getting fat from sitting down for so long ;)
You could die from too much radiation. =] Happy thought.
