sure. if thats what you really want to do. remember the social connections you make in college could end up helping you in your career someday. it pays to know people anyways even if your not meeting people just to get into parties. have fun and do what you want to do and you will have the ultimate college experience. frats do cost money also ( frat dues) however, they are exponentially cheaper than living in dorm rooms.
To be completely honest with you: you should be focused on your studies and graduating rather than parties. Those party animals that you see having so much fun actually end of flunking classes, dropping out, or barely making it out of college anyways.
I think you should keep up your GPA and do well in school. When you're out looking for a job employers will look at your GPA and your performance in college. I am just trying to give you some good advice.
Im not trying to diss frats but they are notorious for being in trouble and in the news. Thats just how I feel about it. guys that are serious about school should avoid frats altogether.
frats dont cost anything unless your chipping in to buy beer so go to one of the frat intro meetiongs and sign up to pledge...i mean whats the worst that can happen good luck and yourself out there
