How many times can one person sign up for an SAT I?

Question:What I mean is how many times should a person take SAT I to show to UC Schools? My friends say that you can only take the SAT I three times at most, but my SAT counsoler from my SAT school said that we can take it more than once. So I'm not so sure.

Answers:
as many as you want... but some schools look at how many times you took it and consider that as well as your scores.
you can take it as much as you want, cause first time isnt the best, my friend got 600 on her Sats and went nuts,
I believe you can only take the SAT I three times. From there the UC schools (and other schools) will only look at your highest combined score, when considering your application. I reccomend trying the ACT with writing, because I found it a lot easier than the SAT.
You can take the test as many times as you want. However, college admissions officers strongly discourage people from taking it more than three times: your score's not likely to change all that much by that point, and it makes you look desperate.
you can take the SAT up to 3 times.

if you take it twice the best score is chosen. but if you take it three times, the grades are averaged together.
