Pretty much the same for me, the labs we're generally very related to the lecture tho there was some time spent on identification of rocks. But otherwise wasn't a very big deal.
yes, the labs were boring. I took sever geology classes and I can't remember exactly what the labs were, mainly specific info that we talked about in Lecture class.
i never actually took geology, but a coupl of my friends did at my school. I'm not exactly sure about the lab scenario, but they did go on an ducational field trip to the Grand Canyon! I'm not sure if your school offers wonderful activities like that, but it's something to ask about...
