An A in English..judging from your question i should have thought a failing grade more apt
WOT!
anything you like you're a scientist - WELL- DONE YOU, CONGRATULATIONS
First of all, with an A in English, you should know it's "what" and not "wot." (Improper spelling and grammar are my pet peeve.) As for what you should do at university... I suggest you take a bit of everything to see what you like. University courses are much different from high school courses. There are also various strands and concentrations. You don't have to pick your major until second year, and even afterwards you have the option of changing it. So follow your interests, and see where they lead you.
i was going to say better
but thats a bit silly innit
what about architecture
Mathematics will give you a sound basis for a career in the sciences or finance and improve your ability to analyse problems in a wide range of subjects.
Presumably you have yet to decide on a career so get yourself a first in maths at Imperial or Bristol, by which time you will probably have decided which direction you intend going.
Archaeology? Pathology?
Go with the sciences or a mathematics. Unless you are going to Oxbridge or one of the top universities a degree in a humanities subject is next to worthless.
On a serious note, if you don't discipline your spelling and grammar no employer will touch you. I know a recruitment consultant who has to reject so many candidates with degrees as their grasp of basic English and communication skills are so poor.
Archaeology and anthropology is a good general course fir sciency history people - Geography would also beggod because you could look at either the human or physical side, and you dont geography at A levle to do a geography course in a lot of unis (I didnt have it and I'm doing a PhD now)
I would say that it's best to do something ur actually interested in- or something that u'll b able to use. No point in getting a degree in anything unless u know what ur gonna do with it!
