What does a pediatrician do? the salary of one?

Question:im thinking of becoming a pediatrician...but not sure exactly what they do, can anyone give me some info

Answers:
They treat people under the age of 18. Like a general doctor you'd see if you had the flu or something, but they only deal with "kids".

It's one of the easiest doctors to be. Not too different from a general med doctor. So, the pay is lower. $80K - $130K (HMOs can be pay killers) unless you've got your own thriving private practice.
a docter that treats babies and kids its an interesting profession and they earn quite a good salary but it also depends on where you work. good luck
