I want to be a nuerosurgeon and i need to know what i need to study and what to major in in college.?

Answers:
Study whatever you want. You just need to take all the prerequisite classes that med schools want. Your major doesn't matter.

However, some schools are quite crowded so if you want to graduate in a reasonable amount of time, you may have to pick a major in the sciences to get priority into getting into those required science courses.
in the US? any major you want to .

2 sem chemistry, 2 sem organic chem, 2 sem physics all w/ labs.

I would avoid being a doctor if at all possible.
go pre-med obviously and go to med school then specialize in nuerosergery but alot of schools tell you to major in bio and i suggest an acutal medical major such as Clinical Laboratory Sciences...it's diagnostic lab. testing and it's really fun...then if med school doesn't work you can still work in a hospital and not as a biologist...lol good luck!
