Question:If I start out at the University of South Alabama but I decide I want a two year instead of a 4 year @ a Community College and Ive already completed a year at univeristy how long would I have to go to community college?

well, if all your credits transfer then you'll just need to finish the remaining 60 credits or what ever to need in order to earn a certain AA.
Probably the remaining year, as long as the courses you took at the University were basic lower division courses which would count toward your associate's degree.
