first off make up your mind... if your going to be a doctor you don't need international studies. Being a doctor is very time consuming, don't spread yourself too thin.
Second. You need to map out the med school you are looking to get into. If its a top 10 school then the undergrad school makes a difference to admissions, in other cases it will do best just to find one that has good science and math classes so you will be prepared for the MCAT, most schools outside the top med schools are more interested in your GPA and MCAT than the name on the diploma.
Also, don't think you have to go to a pricey private school. State schools can give you what you need for a bargain price compared to some pricey private schools that are more interested in your money than your education... not to mention Med Schools are pricey so the less debt you get stuck with in undergrad the better.
