Are you just beginning your college education? If so please know that the first couple of years are spent adjusting to college life, taking required courses regardless of what you choose to be, "when you grow up" Therefore, I think you want to consider where you will get the most for your $$. You should take a psych course, and an extra math courses. If medicine interest you take a class in nutrition too. Statistically, freshmen gain 10 pounds) maybe you could avoid that!
You don't have to declare a major and that way you won't have to change it! Put thought into where you want to live, study, play, and adapt to college life.

I would not recommend any student doing pre-medicine as an undergraduate. Say for instance you get your BA and didnt want to do medicine anymore: your degree will be practically worthless. It would be a better idea to do either a Biological Science or a Chemical Science as an undergrad and then if you decide to go a different route other than medicine, you will have a degree you can do something with. This is only my opinion. I dont know of any colleges in NY taht offers pre-medicine but I recommend you do some research on that.
