College Applications?

Question:It's gettting to be that time of year, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between all of the different terms used for sending in an early application. I've heard it called "early application", "early deadline", "early decision", and many other things and I didn't know which was "binding" and which wasn't. Please help.

Answers:
Early application is self-explanatory. Early deadline probablymeans that if you apply by a certain date, they'll notfy you by a certain date. With early decision, if you are accepted, you must attend that college, also you must agree to withdraw all your other applications to colleges with early decision. That is binding.
