Do colleges in Canada start ON labour day or the day after?

Question:i went on my schools website and it gives your weekly schedule.. and mine said from sept 3- the 9th or something.. and i have classes on the monday? is it like that for all colleges or did they just make a mistake?

They probably mean that your quarter or semester starts on Monday, but your classes don't start until Tuesday or some other time. This is fairly common.
