The more you stay out of school, the easier it is to become unmotivated and not want to return. The longer you wait, the retention factor for things previously learned becomes dimmer. Be careful!
Ok, I'm from PA also, and that is kinda offending! PA colleges are just as "stupid" as schools in other states. You don't sound like someone who is mature enough to go to college right now, so maybe waiting would be best for you.
I, too, live in Pennsylvania. I'd stay and go to a state-owned university. It's affordable and they're actually not bad.
Wouldn't you rather pay approx. $7k vs. $12K?
if you wait...it might be harder to get back into the swing of things (study-wise), but at the same time...you might have a better idea of where you want to go/what you want to do
