Should I wait a year to go to college, or just go to college in Pennsylvania?

Question:I live in the stupid state of Pennsylvania and don't want to go to any colleges here, because I think they are stupid. I recently just finished high school and want to go to college in another state. It may take a while since my parents want to stay here. I don't know what to do. Please help me!

Answers:
Go to a Community College, if there any nearby or in your state (consider distance, time of travel, and gas). The more you stay out of school, the easier it is to become unmotivated and not want to return. The longer you wait, the retention factor for things previously learned becomes dimmer. Be careful!
Ok, I'm from PA also, and that is kinda offending! PA colleges are just as "stupid" as schools in other states. You don't sound like someone who is mature enough to go to college right now, so maybe waiting would be best for you.
I, too, live in Pennsylvania. I'd stay and go to a state-owned university. It's affordable and they're actually not bad.

Wouldn't you rather pay approx. $7k vs. $12K?
if you wait...it might be harder to get back into the swing of things (study-wise), but at the same time...you might have a better idea of where you want to go/what you want to do
