Accounting or Financial Analyst
Major in accounting. You'll have to take math classes and some business classes. There are also actual accounting classes in the colleges that offer an accounting degree. You will also have to take your general education courses that everyone needs... history, English, science, etc.
Well, a good place to start finding out that kind of information would be the business administration or accounting department at a nearby college. You need about 150 credit hours, with 30 in accounting and more in business administration, to become an accountant. There isn't really a specific major, but accounting (if your college even offers it) and business administration are good choices. You could do somethign else, though, if you like, if you just make sure that you get all the correct credentials.
