I wouldn't go there. Very expensive..
I went to a proper university and didn't have any loans in my head. My friends who had gone to Phoenix university, ended up with big loans. They thought it was a short way to get any degree, but you also end up paying much more.
Solid online system, very expensive, have to meet in a lot of groups with each of your classes. Definitely the best online college, but does have some disadvantages. I'd keep looking around.
Utterly worthless. I did 1/3 of my MBA there and quit. My experience was that the people they admitted should never have been allowed into college, let alone grad school. If that is the typical quality of people they put out as their graduates, then I didn't want to associate my name with them. Really, find a decent school. UoP is worthless.
I've heard that employers don't typically find those 'online, for-profit' schools as reputable. www.wikipedia.org has an entry for university of phoenix and some pro's and con's. Wiki is not the most reliable source but they tend to provide sources at the bottom of the page.

I almost went there and did some searching. All with the same kind of answers your getting here. They are VERY expensive. And I have heard alot of companies don't regard it as a good college either.
Typical College depends on what you make of it. Like all colleges get some graduating that don't have a clue and others that are pretty sharp.
I'd say pretty good to finish up and get your degree if you are only lacking a few electives, or tacking on another degree if you already have a degree..
One thing I have noticed is most on-line schools don't curve grades what you make is what you get.
Problem is most companies want students to have that College experience of going to College on Campus. So if you can at least attend the first two years on Campus. It can be a Community College or Jr, College but you will get the College experience.
If you can't do that just go for it..!
But shop around, there are a lot of major and smaller Colleges offering on-line degrees now as well, and they are a lot less expensive.

Based solely on the fact that UoP is a FOR-PROFIT institution, I think you'd be better off looking elsewhere. Just the idea of starting a "school" to make money rubs me the wrong way (incidentally, so does the idea of starting a "religion" to make money -- I'm talking about you, Scientology)
